Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Corner Milestone Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses information when you use the PathTutorial website, the on-site and connector-based tutorial builders, and the PathTutorial Player software (together, the “Service”). We collect as little as we can to run the Service, and we do not sell your personal information.

1. Information we collect

Account details. When you create an account: your name, email address, and a securely stored password. When you accept our Terms we record the date, time, IP address, and browser user-agent of that acceptance.
Tutorial builder input. When you use the on-site builder or the PathTutorial connector (MCP), the task description and tutorial steps you provide are processed to generate the tutorial file. We keep a record of created tutorials (title, app, step count) and a service log of connector calls that includes the account email (if signed in), timestamp, client user-agent, and IP address, used for security and abuse prevention.
Downloads and site usage. Standard web server logs (IP address, user-agent, pages requested) collected by our hosting provider for security and operations.

2. The Player runs locally

The PathTutorial Player runs entirely on your computer. To guide you it reads on-screen element information through Windows UI Automation and monitors mouse/keyboard input while a tutorial is running — this information stays on your device and is not sent to us. The Player writes a small diagnostic log on your own machine (in your temporary files folder) to help troubleshoot detection issues; it is never transmitted automatically.

3. How we use information

To provide the Service: accounts, sign-in, tutorial creation and downloads.
To keep the Service secure: abuse prevention, rate limiting, and diagnostics.
To meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell it.

4. Service providers

We use a small number of processors to run the Service: our hosting and storage provider (Vercel), an AI provider (Anthropic) that processes tutorial descriptions you submit to the builder in order to generate tutorial steps, and a speech provider (ElevenLabs) used to create narration audio for tutorials in the public library. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.

5. Cookies

We use an essential session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. Tutorials you create

Tutorials created through the builder or connector are stored so you can download them, and may be added to the public library. Don't include personal or confidential information in tutorial titles, descriptions, or steps.

7. Retention

We keep account information while your account is active, and service logs for a limited period for security and diagnostics. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal information at any time.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office). 9. International transfers

Our service providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

10. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be published here with a new effective date.
