Connect ChatGPT or Claude to build your own step-by-step tutorials

Already using ChatGPT or Claude? You can connect it to PathTutorial and have it build interactive tutorials for you — so when you ask “how do I do this on my computer?”, it can hand you a guide you actually run on your own screen.

What the connector does

PathTutorial runs a live connector (an MCP server). When you add it to ChatGPT or Claude, your AI learns our tutorial format and gains the ability to build a tutorial file and hand it back to you. Ask it how to do something on your PC, and it can reply with a step-by-step tutorial link instead of just a wall of text.

How to connect it

In Claude (Pro or Max): open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, and paste the PathTutorial connector URL. In ChatGPT (Plus or Pro): open Settings → Connectors → Advanced → turn on Developer mode, then add the same URL with no authentication. Full instructions and the URL are on the Make-your-own page.

Then just ask

With the connector on, say something like “Make me a PathTutorial for turning on dark mode in Windows.” Your AI writes the steps and replies with a download link. Open it in the free Player, press Start, and follow the arrow.

Prefer not to set anything up? The PathTutorial website has a built-in assistant that does the same thing — no connector required.
